Flocculant Dosing System with Vibratory Channel

The FASTRIP FP includes a flocculant dosing system engineered for the precise, automatic addition of flocculant to tanks containing paint stripping sludge. Available in multiple sizes to suit different paint stripping setups, the system uses a vibratory channel to reliably transfer ALITFLOCK flocculant from the hopper to the sludge sedimentation tank, where it is thoroughly mixed by the pneumatic mixer. A level sensor in the hopper signals when product levels are low, and dosing parameters can be easily adjusted via the filter press’s panel interface for optimal performance.

Sludge Sedimentation and Filtered Water Recovery

Typically, FASTRIP FP filter presses work in tandem with a sludge sedimentation tank and a filtered liquid recovery tank. Sludge from the paint stripping bath is drawn into the sedimentation tank, whose conical design promotes natural settling for easy collection by the filter press pump. Level sensors allow precise control over tank filling, either continuously or in cycles, according to software-set parameters. An ATEX-rated pneumatic mixer ensures thorough flocculant integration. Filtered paint stripper exits the press and flows by gravity into the recovery tank, which is positioned nearby for efficient operation. Both tanks are constructed from AISI 304 steel, feature conical bottoms, level sensors, top access lids, and bottom outlet valves, combining robust design with ease of use.
